The difficulty of moving to an insights-driven culture is often underestimated. What is often not considered during IT implementations is when these enhanced data offerings are to be used during a specific work process. From an outside perspective, inserting data and insights into a work process appears to be a no-brainer but to the worker impacted it can be a very difficult change. Often the resistance includes criticism of the application, data relevancy and accuracy, and the additional time it may take to make a better decision.
